Hi I see that the parade paint the night is set to end on August 20th. What parades will be running after that date, me and my family plan to arrive on the 25th of August and would like to know which parades will be available.

Greetings, Rogelio, and welcome to planDisney! You and your family will arrive at the Disneyland Resort just after Halloween Time begins. There's lots of festive fun to look forward to!

You're right that the beloved Paint the Night Parade will end its current run on August 20. In past years, Disneyland Park had a seasonal cavalcade a couple times a day during Halloween Time – think of it as a small parade featuring Disney Characters (including some villains). However, it hasn't been announced yet whether this cavalcade will return in 2026.

The best place to look for more information in the coming weeks is the Hours & Events Calendar. It's updated on a rolling basis to highlight entertainment schedules and other park information up to six weeks in advance. Halloween Time officially kicks off on August 21, 2026, so we should know more about what entertainment will be offered in a little over a week. Details for August 25 should appear a few days after.

In any event, you have a lot to look forward to, Rogelio. The whole Resort will be boo-tifully decorated with pumpkins, colorful banners, and more. You'll even be greeted by a giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. Make sure to stop by Haunted Mansion Holiday for a Nightmare Before Christmas twist on the popular attraction, and stop by Town Square to meet Characters dressed up for the season. There are even some tasty seasonal foods to discover, like the Caramel Apple Cheesecake at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.

I'm not sure if your plans include California Adventure, but I do want to mention that there's an Oogie Boogie Bash after-hours event on August 25. This is a separately ticketed experience, and California Adventure will close early that day for the event. Tickets are still available at the time of writing this if you're interested in spending your evening at this Halloween party. There are trick-or-treat trails, special Character encounters, and a new "ghostly" street party featuring Madame Leota.

Rogelio, I hope you and your family have a wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort. Please check the calendar in a few weeks, or keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if any additional entertainment details become available before Halloween Time begins. And remember, you can reach out anytime with additional questions – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
