Hi Loriece!
You are going to be so excited to hear that Walt Disney World is introducing a new fireworks show,
Happily Ever After, coming on May 12th! This new show is replacing Wishes and I hear that it is going to projections and feature favorite characters, such as Aladdin, Frozen, Toy Story and more.
While the fireworks show will occur most night, you will want to check out the
calendar to see the nights that fireworks and parades are planned. Since you are visiting in October, one thing you will want to keep in mind is that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be occurring on select nights in October. This event requires a special ticket, so if you don't have a ticket, you won't be able to see the Hallo-Wishes fireworks show.
The Festival of Fantasy Parade occurs everyday at 3:00 p.m. at Magic Kingdom. At night there is also an
Electrical Water Pageant, which can be seen from
Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
