Hi Panel! Would it be possible to obtain (today)a list of restaurants & possibly the intended menus for all who will be offering "traditional" Christmas Day Meals this year?(2014) If not avail. yet, can you say what the earliest date to obta

    Hi Danielle,

I've traveled to Walt Disney World several times on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. I completely understand your desire to have a traditional holiday meal. Unfortunately, Disney does not make its holiday menus available until about two weeks in advance. In general, the signature dining restaurants will be more likely to have special holiday fare, but there's no way to know now what the various restaurants will be serving. You can look at the independent website wdwinfo.com to see what the offerings were for 2013. The restaurants typically follow the same pattern on a yearly basis. Another frustrating aspect of Christmas dining is that the idea of a traditional meal is quite variable. Some families have poultry, some have fish, some have beef, etc. (Contrast this with Thanksgiving where everyone thinks turkey is traditional.) The independent website TouringPlans.com has some ideas on how to cope with this uncertainty. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
