    Hi Panel, I am staying at the Wilderness lodge and will be celebrating a family members birthday. Is it possible to have a special Disney cake delivered to the room and how pricey is it? What kind of cake options are available (size and type)? Thanks!

    Howdy Jim!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   It sounds like your family member is going to have an unforgettable birthday spent at The Most Magical Place on Earth.   I have spent many birthdays at Walt Disney World and I can't think of a better place to celebrate.  I am happy to share some ideas to help make this special day one your family member will cherish for a lifetime.  

    Desserts and cakes can be delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room.   You can make arrangements before you arrive by calling ( 407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours before you need the cake.   You can also request a cake delivery once you arrive at Disney's Wilderness Lodge by  pressing "Dining Options" on your Guest room phone or calling the number above.  Please do this at least 72 hours in advance to make sure the cake has time to be made and delivered. Jim, did you know that cakes are also available to be delivered to Disney Dining locations?  If you have a dining reservation the day of the family member's birthday you can have a cake brought to the table.  The Mickey Mouse Celebration Specialty Cake is in the shape of the iconic character and can be customized to say Happy Birthday.   One cake feeds 4-6 Guests.  You can request a cake to a dining location by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.    Cakes can be requested at the time you arrive for a  reservation but each location has a limited quantity so a call will guarantee you a cake for the celebration.
