Hello panel! Can Wishes be viewed from The Wave restaurant? What are the best restaurants to view Wishes while you dine? Thank you for all of your valued knowledge!

The Wave is a fairy new restaurant at WDW and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Yummy! I highly recommend dining there, but unfortunately you cannot see Wishes from the Wave. The Wave is on the ground level on the wrong side of the Contemporary and has no windows.

The best places to see Wishes while dining would be the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary or Narcoosees at the Grand Floridian. Both of these restaurants have decent Wishes sightlines (though in my opinion CG is better). And both dim their lights during Wishes and play the show's music in the dining room. I had my family's Thanksgiving dinner in 2008 at the California Grill during Wishes. Just magical.

It might sort-of be possible to see a sliver of Wishes from Ohana at the Polynesian, but it would be difficult unless you had a window seat -- and there is no way to guarantee this in advance.

Have a great trip to WDW.
