Hi Panel, going to WDW in July. We know it can rain at any minute-I want to book the Aloha dinner, but worried it may get rained out. How often do they have to cancel the show because of weather? Thanks!

    Hi Katherine!
July is one of the unpredictable months when it comes to weather in Florida.  August being the number one month for daily rain showers and increase in hurricane occurrences, with September following a close third.  As much as one tries to plan for weather related delays, they will pop up, like it or not.
Being that The Spirit of Aloha show is an outdoor performance, the tendency for it to be cancelled will be higher than any other show.  They do cancel it periodically, if the weather is severe such as heavy downpours or extreme cold.  The average happens to be 3-4 times per year, usually in the colder season.  My recommendation would be to book your seating, but keep in mind if Spirit of Aloha is cancelled, you would need to find a way to use those two (2) DDP credits post haste, which may prove more difficult.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
