Hi Mom's Panel ~ We are visiting the World Nov 7-15th and I have booked the Pirates and Pals Firework Voyage for Mon Nov 9th. Has anyone attended this "party"? Wondering what to expect with my 10 yr old son. Thanks ºoº

    Ahoy there Kim,

I just set sail on my own Pirate & Pals fireworks cruise a few weeks ago with some of my Moms Panel friends and their families. We had the best time and I am looking forward to sailing again in December when we are on our Christmas trip.

The party begins at the Contemporary Resort where you are greeted by a crew of scallywags and given your honorary pirate bandana. The first part of the party takes place in a private area in the resort and includes snacks like popcorn, granola bars, pretzels and what else....chocolate pirate coins. There is also a selection of teas, coffee, water and soft drinks to wet your whistle. During this part of the party you are able to enjoy the company of your pirate host, Patch, as well as visit with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. You are able to relax and enjoy the pirate treats and take plenty of pictures.

The second portion of the party begins when Patch selects a young pirate to lead the way to the boat. You will set sail from the Contemporary dock towards the magic Kingdom. Along the way, your pirate ship will stop to enjoy a front row seat for the Electric Water Parade. Continuing on your way you will arrive at Magic Kingdom in time for a perfect view of Wishes. There are a number of games and surprises in store for the crew members, like fun Disney trivia games, prizes and maybe even a serenade from Patch if you are lucky. Once you arrive back to the resort you may be lucky enough to be visited by a special guest that lives in Neverland.

The cruise is a great deal of fun and perfect for all ages. I am sure you and your pirate will have an incredible time!
