Hi Panel!! 1st trip to DW Aug19-24. Already have ADR's. Do you recommend calling closer to trip dates to confirm reservations? Would I call the same number I used to make the ADR's? Thanks so much!!

You can call to confirm your Disney dining reservations if you like. Some people just have a greater comfort level if they confirm their meal reservations just prior to their arrival at WDW. Disney is happy to  accommodate this. To confirm reservations, call the main Disney Dining phone number, 407-WDW-DINE. Whether you decide to confirm is a personal choice. I personally never choose to confirm my reservations. I have had many hundreds of dining reservations over the years and only once had a problem. The problem was entirely my fault -- I wrote down the wrong date for a reservation.

In my thinking, perhaps the most important thing you can do as far as your reservations goes is to create a chart or spreadsheet of all your information. Write down all the dates, times, locations, and confirmation numbers of your reservations. Make several copies of this. Keep one or two in your suitcase "just in case" and give one to all the adult members of your party. This way you all know exactly what the plan is and know where and when to meet for meals if you end up splitting up for an activity.

    Have a great trip!
