Hi Moms panel, we are travelling over in August from the UK (4 adults and three children one of whom is 18 months old) Will there be enough provisions on site or will we need to taxi to a store to purchase provisions? No car hire? What do you recommend?

Hi Tracy,

In all my trips to Disney I've never had to make a visit to the supermarket except to buy goodies to take home, every Disney resort has a small shop where you'll find basics such as milk, juice, doughnuts (yep a basic ;-) ) etc. I also make sure to pack several packets of biscuits, sweets and cereal bars for snacks in our rooms.

If that doesn't sound enough then some friends of mine have used the shopping service at www.gardengrocer.com before and have been very pleased with their service. They have a huge selection of items which can be delivered direct to your resort. The prices tend to be higher than at the big supermarkets but you'll end up spending a lot less than the cost of a taxi and it is very convenient too!
