Hello Panel, We have tickets for the MNSSHP on Holloween. My son and I have our costumes just about ready. If we go earlier than 4 p.m. are we allowed to wear our costumes? We have dinner reservations and I want to get there early. Thank you.

    Hi Melinda -

Congratulations on getting those coveted Halloween tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary. You are definitely on the ball!

Costumes are generally not allowed in the park prior to about 4:00pm. The exact ruling on this would be up to the cast members on site. If you show up in costume at 3:50, then they'll likely let it slide, but if you show up at noon in costume, they may ask you to change. To be safe, you should plan not to put on your costume until late afternoon.

When I've been in your situation, I've rented a locker at the Magic Kingdom. I stashed my costume in the locker until after 4:00. Then I just take the costume out and change in the restroom when the party gets going.

You can put your street clothes back in the locker once you have your costume on. This way you don't have to carry clothing around and can concentrate on carrying as much candy as possible!

Have a spooktacular time at the party!
