Hi Latisha!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I want to know how your cruise went; it sounds like it was gearing up to be a
fantastic voyage!
I love maximizing our vacation points, and I think you are super smart to figure out how to get the most out of yours! You are correct in that
you will save points by booking two Deluxe Studios at
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The Studios start at 17 points per night as compared to the 2-Bedroom Villas that begin at 46. I’m no math genius, but it looks like you will save at least nine points a night which, depending on how long you stay, add up to an extra trip!
The
joy of being a Member means you get to do whatever you want with your points! (Well, within the Rules and Regulations…)! But that means that you can book two Deluxe Studios if you desire. You can either
book online or call
Member Services where a Cast Member will be happy to help. If you book online, you will make two separate “transactions.”
Once you make your reservation, you can contact Member Services via
email or phone
to request adjoining rooms. If you need to be next door to each other, I would suggest using the word “connecting.” If you are ok with your party being nearby, you can use “adjoining.” Quick note though, I’m sure the Cast Members at the hotel will bend over backward to honor your request, but ultimately a request is not guaranteed.
Latisha, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come along and sing a song and join us back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Have a fabulous trip.
