Hi panel thanks for all your great advice .can you tell me the difference between the standard and preferred rooms at port riverside thanks

Hi Rhonda!   Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside is one of my families favorite places to stay.   We love the laid back atmosphere, and the ability to take a fun boat ride to Downtown Disney.   I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

The difference between the standard and preferred rooms at this resort are the location. Preferred rooms offer closer proximity to transportation, restaurants, and recreation.    Preferred rooms are only available in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort and  will be located in buildings 14, 15,18 and 27.   I have stayed in building 14 on several occasions and found  that the location  is just a short walk to bus transportation, as well as The Riverside Mill and Market food court.

The independent website portorleans.org is a great source of information when trying to select a perfect room location at this resort.

I hope you have a Supercalifragilistic vacation!   If you have any other questions please let me know.
