Hi Panel, thanks for all the advice. Just a quick one. For Dec 31st dinner, The Wave or O' Hana ? We have opted to stay away from the parks because of the crowds. Thank you so much !

    Hi Shaun,

Our family was lucky enough to chime in the New Year, last year, at Disney World. It was the perfect place to begin 2010.

Both The Wave and O'Hana are fantastic dining choices, but very different in style and taste. The Wave, located in The Contemporary Resort, offers a menu with organic and healthy choices. The restaraunt has a contemporary feel to it with subtle lighting, clean lines and peaceful and almost calming ambience. O'Hana. located at The Polynesian, has a tropical island feel to it and is far from peaceful or quiet. The menu is an all you can eat family style island barbeque. The choices, like lamb, beef and shrimp, are brought to your table on skewers. The restaraunt is a large open floor plan with a gigantic open fire grill in the center. Your evening here will be filled with dancing, singers, limbo and more. It is an extremely upbeat and lively setting.

Based on my family's food preferences and the fact that my three boys are not the quietest kids in the world, the choice for us is easy...O'Hana every time. Good luck deciding, either way, it will be a holiday to remember.
