    Hello panel! We are surprising the kids @ Christmas with a WDW trip 1/26/14-1/31/14. I want to let the kids pick their magic band colors and customize maps for the parks, without ruining the surprise. When is the latest we can do this? Thank you!

    Hi Brandie!

    Typically, MagicBands can be customized until about 2 weeks before your arrival date. To check and see when you need to customize your bands by, go ahead and click the "Customize MagicBands" link on My Disney Experience. On the next page you should see the date that your customization needs to be completed by. Since you are arriving later in January, I think you'll have plenty of time!
