Ahoy, Frank!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you'll be setting sail out of beautiful San Diego in September. The
Disney Wonder has recently been re-imagined so you have a lot to look forward to on your seven-night cruise. Two things you will not want to miss are the dining experiences at
Tiana's Place and the new Broadway-style show,
Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. I was fortunate enough to sail on the Disney Wonder a few weeks ago and was blown away! My best tips are to get to the Walt Disney Theatre early for a seat up close for Frozen and request a double order of Tiana's Buttermilk Beignets! They are so delectable!
You will need to plan ahead if you want to drive to the
Port of San Diego. I did some research for you and at this time the Port of San Diego does not offer parking. There are lots in the downtown area that you could use for short-and long-term parking. Another option appears to be hotels that are nearby as several offer parking when you book a stay, but you may have to take a shuttle depending on the proximity to the port. I suggest you look at the map provided on the Port of San Diego website (www.portofsandiego.com) under "Parking" and google "Port of San Diego parking options" to see what comes up. Hopefully you'll be able to find an option that will work for your crew.
Thank you for sending in your question, Frank! We are always happy to help so please reach back out if you need further assistance with your WONDERous plans!
