Hi Panel! Q: sending park purchases back to Port Orleans. Does this include perishable items, such as treats from Karamell Küche? Family at home has requested items as souveneirs, so there will be a bag full! If no,how about to front of park? TIA for

    Hi Kellie,

Ahhhh, the sweet smell of Karamell. I completely understand the attraction!

Most items purchased in the parks can be sent back to your hotel via the free package pick-up service. The one main exception to this is food. Food items must be carried with you, and cannot be sent to the hotel.

I've even had packaged items like boxed cookies or bags of Chip & Dale pretzels rejected from the package pick-up service. I did once have a tin of mints go through OK, but I think that's just because the register clerk forgot they were in my basket.

It certainly never hurts to ask at the register, but I'm afraid this means that you'll have to transport your bag full of Karamell Kuche treats back to your resort yourself. Try not to eat it on the way :-)

Please let us know if you have any questions. We're happy to help.
