Hi Panel, just returned from DCL Fantasy 2/2014 and booked our 3rd cruise onboard! Looking for San Juan & St Thomas port adventures suggestions for the family (kids will be 6 & 8). Would love to zipline in San Juan. Any thoughts?

Welcome home from the Fantasy, Nancy! Now you're back home in chilly New Jersey and dreaming of warmer Caribbean waters again!

Ziplining is so much fun and San Juan offers an amazing adventure to do just that with the Campo Rico Ziplining Adventure. However, this is for those ages eight and up, and Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures are very strict with age guidelines, so there is no wiggle room for your six year old to join, unfortunately. If one of you parents and your eight year old are still interested, go for it! This is a beautiful spot in San Juan! Alternately, simply exploring the port area of Old San Juan is an adventure in itself. I love this old city. The castle is really cool for kids to explore, and Disney offers an exclusive Youth Activity on the Castillo San Cristobal Adventure. I love taking adventures with Disney that immerse our family in the culture and history of the port we're visiting, and this one certainly does just that!

St. Thomas offers a beautiful view at the Tree Limin' Extreme Zipline Adventure too. Again, this starts at age eight though. But, if your little one is an adventure seeker, check out the Adventure Snorkel Tour on Sea Blaster. This thrilling boat ride is an adventure in itself, so hold on tight! Then, enjoy snorkeling at two different snorkel spots before heading back on the fast and furious ride back!

To see the Port Adventures that your six-year old enjoy, choose your port city then click on the Ages 5-7 box on the left side of the page, so that you'll view only those allowing that age range. You'll see there are still plenty of exciting activities from which to choose! Have fun planning, Nancy!
