    Hi, Mom's panel! I've been reading religiously since I started planning year ago. I am traveling with daughter (almost 6) and son (3) i n TWO WEEKS- huge fans of Disney Jr and Live on Stage is closed for renovation. Any other ways to see Jake/Doc McStuf

    I'm so happy to hear that you've been doing some serious research on the Moms Panel during the past year as you've been planning for your January 2013 vacation! Just think, in two weeks your family will be making magical memories together at Walt Disney World!

    My daughter (who just turned 7) absolutely loves "Sofia the First", "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and "Doc McStuffins". We have season passes to all 3 shows on our Tivo! While it's true that the Disney Jr - Live on Stage! show isn't scheduled to reopen until mid-February (with new additions "Doc McStuffins" and "Sofia the First"), I'm happy to report that Jake is appearing at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant at Hollywood Studios! Hollywood & Vine offers a casual buffet breakfast and lunch with several Disney Junior characters. Since your trip is just around the corner, I would encourage you to make an advance reservation now either through the Disney Dining online reservation system or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Your son and daughter will have a great time meeting Jake and his Disney Junior friends! 

    When you arrive at Hollywood Studios, be sure to pick up a Times Guide for the latest information on character meet-and-greet locations and times. You never know who may show up in Animation Courtyard! I'm sure all your research and advance planning will translate into a truly magical vacation for your family!
