Aloha Deborah!
Welcome back to the Disney Moms Panel!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers a room type for every Guest! Deluxe Studios, Bungalows, traditional rooms or elaborate suites, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers it all. I’m not sure if you are staying in a traditional resort room at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or a Deluxe Studio at
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, but in terms of views, I think this resort offers some of the very best. Even the standard views that overlook a parking lot tend to feature lush vegetation in the immediate area of the balcony or lanai.
For Deluxe Studio Accommodations, all the rooms in both the Pago Pago and Tokelau buildings are standard view rooms. In the Moorea building, the side of the building facing the Seven Seas Lagoon offers Lake Views, while the opposite side of the building that faces the picnic area is standard view. If you were looking to request a building, I prefer Moorea as it is a quick walk to the Transportation & Ticket Center to catch the Monorail to Epcot.
If you will be staying in a traditional resort room with a standard view, your view may overlook the Resort Monorail, parking lot, or gardens. You will find standard view rooms in most every single building, but in particular you are most likely to get a parking lot or Resort Monorail facing room in the Rarotonga building. Most other buildings will have a garden view. But again, the landscaping at the resort is so beautiful, I truly think almost every room offers a lovely and relaxing view.
