Hi Moms Panel, planning 1st WDW trip. We are more QS than TS - Can can u order 'to go' orders from TS restrnt- like Whisp Canyn or Librty Cavrn (for platter as example)? Can u still use dining plan (TS credit) for a 'to go' order? Thx in Advance.

Hi, Heather.  It is definitely not the norm for a table service location to offer their menu items as a take away meal.  The restaurants are really usually too busy to monitor a take out service in addition to dining room service,

Having said that, I have seen a family come into a restaurant, sit at a table, and then have a child become ill.  The restaurant was able to box up the meals for the rest of the family for them to take with them, even though they hadn't been served any portion of their meal yet.  Obviously, this was an extreme situation, and they had planned to dine in, so the option to take away food is definitely the exception to the rule.

I hope that helps with your planning!
