Hello panel. Does AS Movies have the childcare option? Also, is DQ strict on their height req. for the roller coaster ride. My DS 7 is 49" and he really wants to do it. This is our first trip to WDW and I want to try to let him do as much as he can.

If you click here, you'll be taken to some more complete information about childcare at the WDW hotels. The short answer to your question is, yes you can have a babysitter come to your room at the All Star resorts, but no there is no Disney-run childcare center there. All the Disney childcare centers are located in deluxe resorts, but that doesn't mean you have to be staying in the deluxe resorts to use the childcare option. You are perfectly welcome to bring your child for sitting at, say, the Neverland Club at the Polynesian.

As for your other question, any time Disney posts a height requirement for an attraction, they are veeeery strict about it. The height requirements are there for safety reasons and safety is at the top of the Disney priority list. My daughters have even been asked to take off their hats so that they could be more accurately measured for a ride.
