Hi panel! Luv ya'll! We are staying off- prop this year. I would like to get t's, auto books and grab a quick meal on night of arrival. May we just go to POP for this? Don't want to get into crowds at Downtown Disney. Thanks.

Hi, Genie!  You are absolutely welcome to head on over to the Pop Century resort to do some shopping and dining!  We have done this ourselves in years past when staying off property.  My kids are especially fond of the tie-dyed cheesecake at Pop Century, and i have several notches on my belt that represent trips from an off property hotel over to Pop to grab JUST the cheesecake!

When you go to the security gate, they will ask for your photo ID, and you can tell them that you are just there to pick up some things from the gift shop and grab a bite to eat.  They usually give you a short term pass for your car window.  The passes usually give you three hours to do your shopping and dining.

A trip into a resort for some shopping can actually be a bit quicker than Downtown Disney.  I know I've encountered some traffic and parking issues on a busy day at Downtown Disney!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
