Hi Moms Panel! Love reading your answers, you guys are great! Fam and I will be in WDW for Grand Gathering April 14-27 2010, can you tell me what the crowds will be like? I purposely avoided Easter due to crowds. Weather? Is it rainy? Thank you!!!!

Hi Jennifer! April is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World! The gorgeous International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom at Epcot, and the weather is generally delightful. High temperatures in April average in the low 80s, and lows hover around 60 degrees. According to, April has the least amount of rain of any month at Disney!

I like to avoid crowds too, and I often visit in late April or early May as I've found the crowds to be very manageable during those times. In general, attendance at the Disney parks is at the highest levels in the weeks before and after Easter and then begins to decrease to more moderate levels in mid to late April, so I think you have timed your trip perfectly!

Hope your Grand Gathering is fun!
