    Hi Panel: I know the World Showcase opens at 11:00 am at EPCOT. Is it possible to go to the gate early in the am, rent an EVC and park it there until the park opens?

    Hi Marceline,

    You are correct that World Showcase opens most days at 11:00 am. You are right that you could go to Epcot and rent your EVC when the park opens and park it. However, you are taking a risk that you can find it when you return. I would be concerned that a cast member might move it or return it because it went unattended for so long.

    Unless you are going at peak season, you should be able to grab an EVC at 11. I now see more guests using EVCs from rental companies than Disney because of the guaranteed availability and to cut down on the walking from the parking lot to the park entrance.
