    Hello Panel, I'm trying to get around the baggage fees for our trip in June. Have any of you ever shipped a box with your belongings in it to your hotel? If so, how do you go about shipping the box back to your house?

    Hi Christine,

    Many guests do ship packages to themselves at their resorts. Depending on how much you'll be shipping this can be less expensive than luggage fees.

    For smaller packages, the front desk of your hotel may be able to help you with shipping. For larger packages, you'll want to head over to one of the resorts that has a conference center. These are: Yacht Club, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Coronado Springs. The conference center resorts all have full service shipping centers. They sell supplies like boxes, tape and bubble wrap. They also have full ability to ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx and others. 

    Last year my husband went on a bit of a buying spree at one of the Orlando outlet centers. We were staying at the Beach Club. On the morning of our return, he walked his loot over to the Yacht Club business center. They helped him box up his purchases and ship them UPS to our home. If you're planning to do something similar, have the concierge at your hotel confirm the business center hours before you head over.
