Hi Panel! We are hoping to be at Disney in about 60 days. I have used the online reservation system to check for availability at CRT. Shockingly I have found several available times! This seems unusual. Any idea why this might be?? Thanks!

Hi Kelianne! How lucky that you are able to find available reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table during your upcoming vacation! I think there are several reasons you found openings at the Castle for your end-of-August trip. First, attendance levels at Walt Disney World begin to decrease in mid-August due to the fact that many children start to return to school at that time. Also, the princesses are now appearing at dinner, in addition to breakfast and lunch, at Cinderella's Royal Table, which gives guests more opportunities to dine with them. Finally, because a meal at the Castle includes a photo package, it is fairly expensive and requires two table-service credits on the Dining Plan and/or a credit card prepayment, which I think deters some people from making reservations. Even though dining at Cinderella's Royal Table can be pricey, it's still one of my favorite meals at Disney World; you just can't beat eating in the Castle like royalty!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
