1st, the Mom's panel has helped me so much! Thanks! My ? is we are driving to WDW in Aug, so would it be better to drive our own car between parks and such or use Disney transportation? Thanks!!!

    Hi Shanna,

We are so glad we have been able to help with your Disney planning. We love to do it!

Our family has drove to Disney World a number of times and the boys love seeing the sights and the extra adventures that our road trips brings. We are big fans on the Disney transportation system though, so the minute we arrive on property, we park at our resort and forget about the car until it is time to leave. We find the Disney buses reliable and easy to use and much less stress for the adults.

We love being dropped off and picked up near the park gates as well as our resort entrance. If you use your own car, you will need to park in the lot and utilize a tram to move from the parking lot to the park entrance, however the Disney buses will be closer and quicker. This often makes a big difference to us later in the day, when we are dragging exhausted children back to the resort.

Another advantage to the Disney buses is you do not need to worry about directions or where you parked your car. You can also enjoy a cocktail at dinner and not have to worry about driving. My boys love riding on the buses and interacting with the other guests and Cast Members.

I think you will find the buses a great way to move around Disney property and will love worrying about one less thing while on vacation. Relax and leave the driving to someone else.
