The panel is great!! Can you walk from Hollywood Studios to Epcot? If so how long would it take? Visiting in Oct 08 and would like to see the Fantasmic at 7:30 & then walk to Epcot to catch Illuminations. We then could walk back to the Yacht Club.

Yes, you can walk from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot. There is a walking path that runs directly between the two parks. It's about a mile and a half, so depending on your walking pace, that is probably anywhere from about 20 to 30 minutes. If you're tired and not in the mood to walk (as would be the case with me after a long day of park touring), there is a very pleasant boat ride that also runs between these two parks. The boat ride takes about 20 minutes too, so it's really just a matter of how much exercise you're in the mood for.

I think your plan would work. The Fantasmic show lasts about half an hour. If you move with purpose over to Epcot, you should be there in time for Illuminations. You're not going to get the absolute best viewing spot, but you will be able to see the show. After Illuminations it is an easy walk back to the Yacht Club from the International Gateway exit at Epcot.

Sounds like you have a fun night planned!
