    Hi this panel is great. We are planning our 1st family vacation at WDW in March 09. Is there any advice for visiting with a 4yr old and a 15 month old, we are staying for 9 nights. Also, we have the DDP how much more money should we allow.

    Alicia,

    A few quick bits of advice;

    1. With the 15 month old, take full advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They offer a place to refresh, change diapers, and generally recharge without so much of the to-do that a theme park offers.
    2. Nap and pool time should be legally required. Simple rule is: YOU WILL NOT SEE IT ALL! Instead of trying, make sure you get this critical downtime. It is the key to having the last day of your trip be as fun as the first.
    3. The Disney Dining Plan is GREAT. You will certainly save money. But you are smart to budget some added money on top of that. Plan on $20 per day (for the family as a whole) for added snacks. Also realize that the plan covers only 2 of 3 meals. For every breakfast you have to cover, expect to spend about $25/$30 for the family.
    4. Save by shipping cereal and other dry snacks and foods to your room ahead of time.

    These are just a few of many tips available. Send me a follow up question from my bio page and I can provide more.

    Have a magical vacation!
