Hello, panel is great! ?'s 1.Want to come in Oct 2010 for the Food and Wind Fest. Where can I find the dates? 2.We(DH,DS15,DD11)would like to stay at AKL, are the animals still active that time of year? Or do you recom. the Poly?1 week 4parks, thanks!

The dates for the fabulous EPCOT Food and Wine Festival for 2010 are September 24 through November 7.  This is one of our favorite times of the year at EPCOT, and even my away at college daughter managed to get herself over to EPCOT to enjoy the delicious sampling of food from around the world!

Keep an eye on www.disneyworld.com towards the summer of 2010.  They should begin releasing information about booking special events during the festival.

The animals might even be a bit more active as the temperatures cool off and the humidity drops a bit in October.  My kids have always enjoyed staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we like to treat them to a room service breakfast early one morning during our stay so they can wake up and enjoy the animals before rushing out to a busy theme park day.  It's always nice to have that peaceful time, and the girls love waking up to see the animals.

I absolutely love the Polynesian, but I have to say that my favorite part of Animal Kingdom lodge is that it is an experience you can't get anywhere else.  If you have the opportunity to stay there, I'd choose Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Enjoy a fabulous vacation!
