Welcome aboard, Maureen! A Disney cruise with friends sounds like a wonderful way to spend Christmas week later this year!
The Dream will be gorgeously decorated and you'll surely experience some wonderful holiday activities and events throughout the ship and on Castaway Cay. Though the Christmas menu for this year has not been planned just yet, I do know that you should certainly expect a traditional holiday menu with items such as:
Honey Glazed Baked Virginia Ham
Oven Roasted Young Tom Turkey
Tender Prime Rib
Baked Lobster Tail
Mashed sweet potatoes
Bread Fruit Stuffing
Sweet Peas
Freshly Made Cranberry Relish
Keep in mind those are offerings that have been available in the past, but menus are always subject to change, so these exact offerings may not be what you see this Christmas.
For dessert, I can guess that you'll have
DIsney Cruise Line's Double Chocolate Yule Log as one of your options while you are sailing at Christmastime. The Disney Parks Blog lists the recipe for that if you'd like to give it a try on your own to get even more excited about setting sail with Disney!
Check out this posting about
Christmas on the Dream on the Disney Parks Blog. You'll see some photos of the decorations and read a bit more about the festivities that took place onboard in the past couple years.
Have fun as you continue to plan, Maureen! Please let me know if you have other questions with which I can help you!
