Hello panel my family of is traveling to DW in July for 6 days. Will my 5 year old D and 15mth old son enjoy Epcot and how long does it take to get through the park

    Siedah,

An important thing to remember with Epcot is that it is a physically large park. the walk around the Epcot World Showcase Lagoon, for example, is just over a mile around. So clearly with younger children in your group you will want to take that into consideration.

I would say that a full day at Epcot should give you enough time to see all that you would find interesting. The children will find more to do in the Living Seas pavilion that probably anywhere else, though there are certainly other things to see and do. I would also set aside at least an hour to look at the two sides of Innoventions. Many of these exhibits will appeal to your 5 year old.

If I were planning your day for you, I would tell you to plan on spending all your time in the Future World side until the World Showcase side of the park opens at 11:30 am. By then you will have probably seen all that you need to in Future World.

Grab lunch, then enjoy visiting the different national pavilions. Write me if you want some dining suggestions, letting me know if you have cuisine preferences, whether you want sit-down or quick service dining, etc.

Assuming you are like our family, you will return to your resort for an afternoon break. But make sure you return in the evening, when Epcot really shines. Make a dinner reservation at one of the great World Showcase restaurants, and enjoy the early evening before calling it a day.

    Have a magical vacation!
