Hello panel. My family and I will be traveling to Disney World in few weeks. My youngest child will be 3 in September. I was not planning on buying her a ticket as she is under 3. Will they question me at the gate and require her birth certificate?

    Hi Amy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  How exciting that you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. in just a few short weeks!  You're correct that you won't need a ticket for your 3-year old to enter the parks, which is a great perk to taking your little ones.  When my own sons were under 3-years old, we visited Walt Disney World many times and I can't remember being questioned about their ages even once.  Still, I always felt better having a photocopy of their birth certificates or passports in our day bag, just in case we were asked.  It probably won't be necessary, but it might be worth it to have those (even if it's just for your own peace of mind).

Wishing you a most magical vacation, Amy!  Please let us know if you have any other questions before your trip.
