    Hi Moms panel! My family be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We'll be dinning at Chef Mickeys and I am wondering the best mode of transportation we should take to get there? Also what's the best way to get to Dwn Disney from the Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi, Jennifer! You will be thrilled to know that there is a boat that goes directly from the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary Resort.  The trip takes about 20 minutes.  To get to Downtown Disney from your Resort, you will simply go to the bus depot and wait for a bus.  Once on the bus, the trip takes about 35 minutes.  You can find the estimated travel times for all your planning needs by visiting one of my favorite planning tools, the Transportation Wizard at the Our Laughing Place website. When you enter ourlaughingplace.com into your browser, their Transportation Wizard will be in the top-right corner of the heading banner.  Click on it, then simply choose your beginning location (like Wilderness Lodge) and where you want to go.  The Transportation Wizard will give you options for routes to take (if there is more than one) and estimate the time needed for the transfer.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
