Hi Moms Panel! My family and I are staying at the Port Orleans River side and I had made reservations at Chef Mickey for breakfast-745am. 1.Do the buses run between hotels? 2. Do you think we will have enough time to get there that early? Thank you!!

    Hey Lynn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for your question.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is a must-do for anyone visiting Walt Disney World. However, transportation between Walt Disney World resorts can be a little tricky but it's definitely doable.

To get from your resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort using Disney Bus Transportation you would normally have to go to a theme park first. However, Disney buses begin running one hour prior to park opening time. During your stay the Magic Kingdom (the closest theme park to the Contemporary) opens at 9:00 a.m. This means the buses will begin running well after you have already greeted Mickey & his pals. I suggest hailing a cab from your resort to make the trek across Walt Disney World. Most cab rides within Walt Disney World property cost approximately $20 including tip.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and pixie-dusted day!
