    Hi Moms Panel! My family of 5 (3 girls: 5,7,9) will by taking our first trip to WDW 8/3-8/10/13 staying at AoA resort. We have 4 day tickets. Ideas for an itinerary where we won't need a vacation when we get back? Want to get most fun in park & resort!

    Hi Julie! I felt like this question had my name all over it - I also have three daughters who are exactly those ages!

    I think that first you need to decide where you will spend your days. The parks are very large and impossible to see in one day, or even one vacation. I typically tell people that while they won't ever see or do it all, they can enjoy the majority of rides and attractions by spending one day each at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and two days each at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. That's six days, so obviously the math doesn't pan out with your 4 day tickets.

    Because of that, you will need to decide if you'd like to visit each of the parks, knowing that there will be a lot of things that you'll miss, or if you'd rather visit fewer parks but see/do more in each. I really think that the best answer to that is a personal decision that will vary from family to family, depending on the specific interests of each of you. My suggestion would be to pick up some Disney vacation guides and start reading about the parks and attractions. Visit the Disney website, check out YouTube videos - whatever will help you all make your own 'must-do' lists. After you see in writing what everyone considers their top 5 Disney musts, then you should be able to see where your time should be spent. After that, it will be much easier to help you plan a more specific, detailed itinerary.

    One quick tip that I will share is that, if it were me, I would definitely invest in character dining on non-park days. Many resorts offer great character dining experiences that won't take a minute away from your park visiting days, when I'd just grab a fast bite and keep on playing!

    And finally, and again this is just our personal preference, if we were limited on time we would still be spending 2 days at the Magic Kingdom and making our time cuts elsewhere. It's quintessential Disney, and holds the vast majority of rides and attractions that your daughters will love.
