Hi Panel! Family generously sharing DVC timeshare with us. We are booked in Polynesian deluxe one bedroom villa, water view. Is there a certain building/room we should request with online check-in? 1st time staying at Polynesian. Thank you!!

    Hello Allyssa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I was lucky enough to stay at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows this summer, and I fell in love it. It is is a true tropical escape, the dining is amazing from Dole Whips on the Pineapple Lanai to the family favorite ‘Ohana, and it has one of the best locations on property. How lucky you are to have such generous family to share their Disney Vacation Club Membership with you.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows offer Deluxe Studios that sleep up to 5, or the 2 bedroom Bora Bora Bungalows which are set over the water and sleep up to 8.  At this time, it does not offer 1 Bedroom Villas like those found at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts. The Deluxe Studios are the largest on property, and offer a queen bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa and a pull-down bunk. It also has a convenient kitchenette and a split bathroom that allows multiple family members to get ready easily in the morning. For a better view, check out my fellow Moms Panelist Juliette, in this video featuring the Deluxe Studios.

If you are booked in a Deluxe Studio with a Lake View, you’ll be in the Moorea Building facing the Seven Seas Lagoon. I would recommend requesting a higher floor, for the best view of Magic Kingdom. If you are in one of the fabulous Bora Bora Bungalows, you’ll find your entire suite is over the water! You’ll have the perfect view of the Magic Kingdom. You might request to be closer to the Great Ceremonial House which would put you closer to the Monorail, the Lava Pool, and dining options.

Have a wonderful visit to Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and let us know if you have any additional questions we can help you with!
