Hi Panel! 1st ever cruise and its got to be Disney.3 questions: Do all ships have shopping on board? Is late Feb/early March a good time for Bahamas? Is there any type of deposit required on board if no excursions are planned? Thanks so much!

Welcome aboard, Jennifer! You're going to absolutely love your very first Disney cruise!

All four of Disney Cruise Line's magnificent ships have shopping on board. You'll find Mickey's Mates and Treasure Ketch on the Wonder and the Magic. Onboard the Fantasy and Dream you'll find Mickey's Mainsail and Sea Treasures gift shops. Mickey's Mates and Mickey's Mainsail have gifts for kids and families of all ages, including Disney costumes, plush toys, books, Christmas ornaments and more. Treasure Ketch and Sea Treasures has specialty sales by big brand name luxury brands, as well as jewelry, watches and adult clothes, to name a few. There you will also find a small drug store type wall with everything from swim diapers to over the counter medications.
Up on the pool deck, there are also small stands with beach/pool type things from flip flops, pool towels and more!

My family has sailed in February and January and loved it. The weather in the Bahamas and Caribbean is warm and the crowds aren't quite what you'd find in the middle of summer, so it's wonderful! Plus, you can usually get a better price sailing then, versus over Spring Break or summer!

No matter what you plan to do onboard, you will need to provide Disney with a credit card for your stateroom account. Any extras will be charged to your account, from adult drinks to Port Adventures to Adult Exclusive Dining. Should you want to settle your account another way besides your credit card, simply stop down to Guest Services and they will be happy to take another form of payment.

Have fun as you continue to plan, Jennifer. Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
