Hi Panel. This is for Doug, please. I saw you recommended HS for Thanksgiving Day.  Is there any particular reason? We'll also be there that week and trying to plan. Thanks!

    Genie,

I think that Hollywood Studios is typically the best park to visit on major holidays because the crowds just always seem more manageable. As you can imagine, the Magic Kingdom is always packed on days like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Often to capacity where they have to temporarily close the gates to added guests entering that park!

But Hollywood Studios, while certainly not deserted, seems to have a far lower crowd size. I always motivated by the chance to go where the crowds are lighter, as I both want to keep my line-waiting time to a minimum, and I just don't like being packed into a park.

I hope that this helps? I am glad to answer any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
