Hello Panel! Me and my DD10 will be visiting the World 11/3-11/10/2012. I was thinking about going resort hopping. Are the resorts decorated for the holidays by then and which resorts are the best to see during the holiday. Thanks. I love this panel!

Hi, Stephanie!  You are going to be right at the very early beginning of the holiday decorations at Walt Disney World.  Because Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party goes right through the entire month of October and this year, there is a party on November 2nd.  The parks will begin decorating shortly after that, as will the resorts.  You may not see all of the decorations go up this early in November, but make a trip around and see what you can find!

You may find that each of the resorts and theme parks is decorated for the Christmas holiday, and the decorations are themed to the individual resort.

My must see is the Grand Floridian.  Resplendent in a Victorian holiday theme, you'll find a life sized gingerbread house, complete with some friendly faces selling a variety of gingerbread goodies.  I also really love the tree at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, with some really unique decorations.  Check out the Boardwalk Resort area hotels.  In years past, there have been character meet and greets (which make for great holiday photos), and other holiday displays.

I'll cross my fingers that you get to see some of the amazing holiday decorations!
