Hello Panel! Are the build a light saber spots (DTD/HS) the same? I saw where the DTD one gives batteries and a special pin at checkout-does the one at HS do the same? Would love to have the pin for a keepsake for my DGS 5 Thanks!

Hi, Kimberly! While the parts to build the light sabers are the same, the atmospheres are very different.  While we love shopping at Tatooine Traders in Disney's Hollywood Studios, it can be a little crowded.  For true fans, though, there may be nothing like building a light saber in this atmosphere modeled to resemble the Mos Espa village in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.  However, if where you build is not as important as the actual saber itself, I suggest trying out Once Upon a Toy Store in Downtown Disney.  The light saber assembly area is not nearly as crowded, and we never feel rushed trying out all of the various components.  At both locations, upon completing and purchasing your light saber, you will be issued batteries and an exclusive pin. There are two available, a Jedi and a Sith. You’ll have to make two light sabers if you want both!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
