Hi Jade!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited that we can help you with some additional details about your trip! There are a few admission options that I'd love to tell you about so that you can pick the best
theme park admission tickets for your trip.
The first consideration is how many days would you like to be in the theme parks. Personally, I usually plan to have admission for every day except for our travel days. This means on the day that we arrive and depart, we don't plan any in-park activities, but instead visit Disney Springs for a great meal or fun activity like
The VOID: Step Beyond Reality. This way we have a low-key way to enjoy a day that is packed with travel. For the other vacation days, I almost always purchase theme park admission. Since the price of admission per day decreases as you add days, it is often very economical to approach things this way. This also makes it super easy to pop over to EPCOT during the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival just to enjoy the
Outdoor Kitchens. You don't need to spend an entire day touring, but can just enjoy the food (and maybe a glass of wine or two!) while you have a leisurely stroll around World Showcase!
When purchasing your park tickets, you'll also want to consider the Park Hopper option. When you add this to your standard admission, you'll have the ability to visit more than 1 park per day. If this is in the vacation budget, it is a really good option to consider if you'd like the thrill of riding
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in the morning and then later relaxing over a gourmet meal at
Monsieur Paul at EPCOT in the evening. The possibilities are endless.
If do you decide on fewer park days, there are many, many options to satisfy your Foodie cravings without entering the parks. Some of the best Walt Disney World restaurants are located in resorts. This means you can visit them without a theme park admission ticket - perfect for days when you'd like to take things a little bit slower. Personally, I can't wait to experience rooftop dining at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. If you time your dinner just right, you'll even be able to catch a glimpse of the fireworks spectaculars at the parks!
I hope this gives you some ideas to consider when picking your park tickets! Be sure to let us know if we can help refine any of your plans!
