    HI MOMS PANEL! I have just booked my trip for my sons birthday as he wll be turning 6 while we are down there july 9th to the 13th, we have the myw 4 day pass with dinning and staying at alm. what can i do to make this a very special event for him?

    Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Valerie! Walt Disney World is the perfect place for a birthday celebration! Be sure to pick your son up a complimentary "Birthday Celebration Button" either at your Walt Disney World Resort or at Guest Relations, located at any of the parks.He will love all the "Birthday Wishes" that he'll receive all day! I know just the thing to make his "big day" extra special! At The Pirate's League, located in the Magic Kingdom, kids select a pirate style and receive a makeover and training from the League's veteran pirates.Guests will get a new name, learn some swashbuckling maneuvers and, after taking the official Pirate League Oath, they can march in the Parade of Pirates in Adventureland. Reservations can be made by calling (407)WDW-CREW. A birthday celebration is never complete without a special "Birthday Meal!" May I suggest 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort or Whispering Canyon Café at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a fun, lively atmosphere! 'Ohana features a festive atmosphere with a Polynesian-inspired menu.This restaurant offers views of Cinderella Castle and serves fabulous food, family-style.Whispering Canyon Café is a rowdy, family-style restaurant with an Old West theme.You can book Advanced Dining Reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE.Sail the Seven Seas Lagoon on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage for a magical ending to his special day! This voyage comes alive with boisterous song, tales of adventure, daring Never Land pirates and dazzling fireworks!
