Hello panel, Are the boats running between Port Orleans Riverside and Disney Springs at this time. Tks in advance.

    Ahoy Michael!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this magical question. Wow, Michael, your Disney vacation is coming so soon! How excited are you? I know I would be thrilled, especially since you will be able to experience so many incredible offerings during your upcoming visit.

I absolutely love using the water taxis and the water ferry boats to get to the parks. Indeed, I find that they are such a relaxing way to get to the theme parks and back to your Resort, and they often give you unique views of the Walt Disney World Resort you, otherwise, would not be able to appreciate. To answer your question, I can confirm that the water taxis are indeed currently running between Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney Springs. The water taxi boats usually start operations at 10 A.M., but hours of operation are subject to change and weather conditions. For that reason, I suggest asking for the hours of operation when checking in. Most routes run at 15 to 30-minute intervals, so make sure to plan enough time to get to your destination if you have reservations!

Now, Michael, I thought I would share some of the amazing offerings you will be able to experience on your upcoming vacation! The main star currently is the opening of the brand new attraction Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic Rewind on May 27th, 2022. The ride will open with virtual queues, so I would suggest downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app to make sure that you can secure your spot. Also at EPCOT, you will be able to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Not only is this festival gorgeous with its thousands of flowers and many themed topiaries, but it also has some seasonal offerings that you will not want to miss. One of my favourite activities is to go around the World Showcase and try different meals and treats from the outdoor kitchens. If you are travelling with little ones, I also recommend buying a map to participate in the Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt. Although this activity is advertised for younger dreamers, I had so much participating in the scavenger hunt myself and love that they change with each EPCOT festival!

I hope this was helpful, Michael, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You've got a friend in us!

Have a magical day and bon appétit,
