Hello Panel! Is it better to go to WDW the week b4 Thanksgiving or the week b4 Christmas? Will be going in 2011 & want to go when crowds are lower & also when we can enjoy all that Disney has to offer (parades, storytelling) related to Christmas.

    Hi JoCarole,

To fully experience the Walt Disney World Resorts at the holidays, go the week before Christmas. While the week before Thanksgiving will be lighter in crowds, the Magic Kingdom will not be decorated. It is the last to be decorated on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Plus you will miss the events in EPCOT which are truly magical.

If you can go the week after Thanksgiving, I think you will experience low crowds with lots of holiday magic.

    Happy Holidays!
