    Hello panel. Arriving on 8/7 with a very picky 8 year old. Can you suggest some quick service places for a picky eater in all the parks? Generally eats nuggets, pasta, fruit, veggies, pizza and breakfast items. Thanks, You are very helpful.

    Hi Karen,
    I am also the proud and frustrated parent of a very picky eater. We have spent numerous family trips searching for locations that will accommodate his three desired foods. From the sound of your child's menu, I think you will not have any problems finding places that will satisfy your eight year old.

    Most counter services offer the same basic selections on the childrens menu, burgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs and pizza. You will be able to select from french fries or carrots or grapes typically. Many table service locations will offer pasta with a variety of sauce choices and a veggie of the day. We always found that the buffets were the biggest hit with our picky eater. There is always a great selection of fresh vegetable and fruits as well as salads and meats. We also have found that it works best to let our son eat small meals throughout the day. There are  fresh fruit stands in the parks as well as carts with quick service foods. If he did not like the choices on the menu, we were able to easily find small selections that he enjoyed. You are also able to carry a small cooler or bag into the parks, so consider packing snacks or sandwiches that she will enjoy.
