Thanks so much for the kind words Susan! My first Disney vacations were at Fort Wilderness, and these are fantastic memories. Here are a few of my nine year old daughter's favourite dining spots:
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. Nice and close to Fort Wildernes, but be prepared, it's loud. But so much fun! She has a fabulous time riding a pony through the restaurant and doing the hokeypokey. Make sure your boys ask for ketchup!
- Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary for a character buffet featuring Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and more.
- Raglan Road Pub in Downtown Disney. Another super fun spot, with an Irish band and dancers and a great children's menu.
- Sci-fi Dine in at the Hollywood Studios, where your boys can eat in a car and watch old movie clips!
- Anwhere on the Boardwalk. They might enjoy burgers and monster-sized sundaes. The Boardwalk is filled with exciting buskers, magicians and so much more.
- Ohana's at the Polynesian resort is a family style restaurant, with lots of entertainment, including hula lessons and coconut races for the kids.
- At Epcot, they might enjoy Teppan Edo (Japan) where the chefs entertain as they cook your meal before your eyes or the Biergarten (Germany) which has great entertainment and a yummy buffet!
