Hello panel! We have always gone to Disney in the summer and fall. Next year, we are going in early May. What can we expect as far as crowds and weather? Staying first time at POR....can't wait!

    Jaynee,

OK, so let's start with weather. The highs (therefore what you want to plan for when it comes to dressing for your park days) are in the high 80s. The lows (or how you want to dress for nights out) are in the mid 60s. You are there before the start of the rainy season, so that is good.

As for crowds they are moderate to busy. So you are going to find them notably lower than your summer trips, but certainly far more crowded when compared to most fall times. Consider it to be much closer to what you had during the summer, but just a tick lighter at times.

BOTTOM LINE: Summer attire during the day, but maybe a light jacket/sweater in the evening if it gets chilly. Expect summer-like crowds and be pleased by them being just a hair lighter.

    Have a magical vacation!
