Hi panel, me again! How long do first run movies show on the ships. Star Wars 9 comes out in Late December and my cruise is in March and wanted to get a sense of what the chances of seeing it on the ship?

    Ahoy Nicholas!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are always happy to see you cruise by with another great question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!

As a Star Wars fan, I squealed with excitement watching the trailer for Episode Nine this weekend!  I cannot wait to see what is in store for our galactic heroes.  Okay, and the fate of the dark side of the force as well.

With the anticipated popularity of this movie, it is very likely to still be showing in the Buena Vista Theatre while you are onboard in March.  When we have sailed this time of year in the past, there were screenings of movies released over the holidays playing during our cruise.  Entertainment is always subject to change, so to keep up with all the showtimes during your high seas adventure, be sure to download and use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App while onboard.

I hope you are fortunate enough to get the full force experience with Disney Cruise Line's Star Wars Day at Sea announced on select sailings from January to March of 2020.

May the force be with you, Nicholas!  Bon voyage!  Angie
