It's your lucky day!
The statement "dinner add on" means that certain items are added onto the regular buffet line during the dinner hours that are not there during the lunch service. So, if you go to the
Biergarten during dinner, you'll find that sauerbraten is right there with the rest of food. There is no extra charge and no need to special order.
In addition to having delicious German foods at the Biergarten, several times during the evening, a German band will take the stage.
They play dance tunes and demonstrate traditional instruments. This is
all very fun and upbeat. Guests are invited to use the dance floor.
Once in a while you will get a couple that can really ballroom dance,
but mostly it's little kids dancing with each other freely or little
girls dancing on their daddys' feet. So cute!
The Biergarten is the site of
my all-time favorite WDW memory. When my oldest was six, the bandleader
invited her on stage to lead the musicians. He ended up speaking with
her for about 5-6 minutes. She really worked the crowd, told jokes,
teased the bandleader, etc. It revealed a side of her personality that
I had never seen before. It was a little peek into who she would be in
the future, a perfect moment that crystalized where she was going to go
in her life. We don't take our video camera to WDW, but it kills me
that we didn't have it then.
So, I love the Biergarten. I hope you will too
